RW 95.1 FM fills the air with enchanting Christmas Carols

    Christmas is literally in the air on Pampanga Day, December 11, 2009 as RW 95.1 FM staged a chorale competition. "Caroling sa Paskong Darating" made the Lantern capital of the Philippines feel and look a lot like Christmas with the enchanting voices of equally-exceptional chorale groups in the region.

    The live on-air competition was participated by various chorale groups in a musical battle heard over the radio.

    Six contenders squared off during the finals. Each group performed two Christmas songs of their choice. In the end, San Fernando Vocal Ensemble bested all competing groups with their unique interpretation of African Noel and Carol of the Bells. DVoz, an all male group, placed first with their rendition of Paskung Pamagbayu and Jesus Born on This Day while Voce the Angeli's Gumising and Kumukutitap contest piece made them capture the 2nd place.




5th runner up Pampanga Sagip Choir sings "Angels We Have Heard on High".


4th runner up GK Kids Choir in their rendition of "Noche Buena".


3rd runner up BNP Choir performs "Pasku Napun,
Pasku Ngeni, Pasku Bukas".


2nd runner up Voce the Angeli belts out their contest piece

1st runner up all male group- D'Voz- sings 'Jesus Born On This Day'


San Fernando Vocal Ensemble topped all competing groups
with their rendition of African Noel, making them the champion.
